Aubrey Rey

JOE BARSZOWSKI:  Is The Aubrey Rey Band Guitarist. He is also a singer, songwriter, worship leader, sound engineer, sound equipment specialist, lighting tech, booking manager, tour bus driver and all around live music production band-a-holic.  Well versed in rock and country music, he has written and recorded records in Nashville and shared concert stages with several well-known national recording artists.  Joe owns and operates JB Sound, a full service sound and lighting company that provides production for bands, small to large corporate conferences, nightclubs, concerts and festivals. He is best known as the worship leader and music director at Morgantown Community Church and follower of Our Lord Jesus Christ.           

John was raised in a musical family. His mother taught music and piano, father was a singer, and brother played drums and sang. John started playing the bass at the age of 14. At the age of 17 formed the band Egdon Heath with his brother and for decades had great success playing all genre of music like rock, motown, disco, jazz, grunge, heavy metal, and now country. Along the way hooked up with guitarist Joe Barr who played in Egdon Heath, Jess Zimmerman Band and now the Aubrey Rey Band. In recent years John has worked with the trio RK3, Audra McLaughlin, and The Jess Zimmerman Band writing and recording two albums in Nashville, touring around the country, and opening for acts such as Little Big Town, Kane Brown, Toby Keith and Hunter Hayes.

Matthew Sonnen: Is The Aubrey Rey Band

Sound and Lightning Engineer. He is Also know as DJ Sonnen/ The Dancing Sound Guy.

Matt was born and raised on his family’s dairy and poultry farm. Matt’s love for music started at a young age with church choir and the school band. Matt started to DJ  for various events, then grew into doing weddings, banquets and other various events. The next step was a transition into live sound engineering. Matt’s love for country line dancing can be seen at any ARB show just look at the dance floor. Outside of keeping the band sounding and looking their greatest on stage, Matt can be seen as DJ at many country line dancing venues. Matt serves the community on the local ambulance and serves on the production team at Morgantown Community Church.
